Ryan Hageman / Pubblico Project
Artwork that deserves to be torn apart.
Above: Pubblico by the artist Eltono, seen on NeuBlack.
Ryan Hageman writes: The Pubblico project seems to represent a blended graphic language, combining the visual styles of the Iranian vernacular with the structure of Japanese Kanji. Acting as an interface which encourages the participation of the local community, the Pubblico project stands as an artifact, while also documenting daily life as experienced by its inhabitants.
Eltono is constantly pushing the boundaries of graffiti art and the concept of public spaces. This work was recently featured in the Rojo Artspace Milano.
