Ryan Hageman / Akzidenz Grotesk

Akzidenz meets Nihongo.

Above: A publication designed by the Italian design studio, Temp.

Ryan Hageman writes: Temp compares the classic German typeface,
Akzidenz Grotesk, with the equally structural Japanese typeface,
Kozuka Mincho Std (小塚明朝 Std).

That’s fascinating. I need to get a hold of Akzidenz! do you have it, Ryan?

alas, I do not have Akzidenz. Although, Myfont has every variation: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/berthold/akzidenz-grotesk-bq/

We all have Kozuka because it is bundled with Indesign. That means we all have to write in Japanese.

Note: Kozuka also comes with the standard roman alphabet.
