Urbi et Orbi: Obamanos!
Every day is a good day.
Above: In the mail today, a t-shirt from Virgina from my Momma.
Urbi et Orbi: Don’t let anyone tell you any different, today was a really good day.
There are, as always, some fairly distressing elements.
Today, The New York Times endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States of America. Today, one might almost feel sorry for his opponent, but today, we saw yet another dive to the darkest places of the American soul in a sinister and desperate hoax. Today, even Fox News’ John Moody said: “If the incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain’s quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting.” Today, we saw the worlds markets still reeling in despair, flooded by Greenspan’s tsunami of words.
Today, we saw an apology from still more dark figures, but they are caught again! Today, I found a Republicans for Obama website, and more are talking openly.
Today, Bettina showed me an amazing short (see original here):
Today, we know we must change. We have no other choice. Today, we received a lesson in responsibility and love from Nicholas Blechman, and we thought of the future, together.
Today, Geotypografika officially endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States of America. Today, still President Bush announced that he had already voted for the Republican candidate (and now the lady in red points her base accusations at him). Today, liebe Bettina and I can proudly announce that we also have voted early,
for Barack Obama.
Oh, and I said hell yes.
Liebe Freunde, come what may, today, the two of us are full of yearning for the future. Urbi et Orbis, Obamanos!
