Firefox 3.0

Release day looks to set download records.

Above: Open source forever. The long-anticipated Firefox 3.0 download is going to be available at 1700 UTC today, and the Mozilla developers are hoping to set records for downloads. Firefox is currently the second most popular browser, coming in at 13.76% (compared to IE at 83.27%). Need more reasons to switch to this superior platform? Here is a background story from the BBC Online.

Psst, beta-versions have been available here.
