Matthew Butterick releases his typographic manual for legal matters.
Above: Cropped version of the cover for Typography for Lawyers, also available via Amazon as of next week. Remember this post from Sept. 2008 when I happened across the eponymous website? It was a delight to receive an email yesterday from Butterick announcing his new release. Graphic designers and typographers will be interested in this guide for preparing typographically sound legal documents, see a few samples here. Matthew notes that the book includes a foreword by Bryan Garner, editor of Black’s Law Dictionary.
Best of luck, Matthew!
