I was excited to notice this morning that the NYT designers had chosen to include a Cyrillic title, adding visual complexity to the overall image that is quite attractive. Unfamiliar forms and counterforms draw in the eye and the mind. Notice the slight color variation, adjusting for stroke weight? Fantastico!
