Some samples from my effort to document global typographic/graphic phenomena (mena, mena)

Above: Dubai shop window, 2006. Here is a temporary link to a page on my static site that has some examples from several cities around the world. I am always trying to extend these, and hope to have a larger post on this topic soon.

I’ll be delivering a lecture on this topic in a co-sponsored MCAD/AIGA forum on February 20 (for more info, see this recent posting). In the meantime, I am also teaching a special topics course here this semester, and hope to use the full collection to demonstrate a way of identifying typographic and graphic viruses.
